The Butterfly Club’s first Sisterhood Building Project is designed to create a safe, empowering, and uplifting space for girls in grades 6–12 to connect, grow, and inspire one another. Through friendship, teamwork, leadership activities, creative expression, and confidence-building experiences, members learn the importance of supporting each other while embracing their unique talents and voices. This project focuses on building strong bonds between young girls from diverse backgrounds, teaching them the value of respect, kindness, encouragement, and self-love. The Butterfly Club represents transformation, growth, and the beauty of becoming who you are meant to be. At The Lillie Mae Parson Performing Arts Center, we believe every girl deserves a sisterhood that reminds her she is powerful, valued, and capable of shining brightly. Butterfly Club Program Needs 💜🦋The Butterfly Club at The Lillie Mae Parson Performing Arts Center is dedicated to empowering girls in grades 6–12 through leadership, mentorship, sisterhood, creativity, confidence-building, and personal growth opportunities. To continue creating a safe and inspiring environment for our girls, we are seeking donations and community support. Current Program Needs: Journals and notebooks Art and craft supplies Snacks and bottled water for meetings Purple Butterfly Club shirts and hoodies Hygiene kits for girls Leadership and empowerment books Laptops and tablets for digital learning Guest speakers and mentorship support Workshop and activity supplies Transportation assistance for events and trips.

Wings of Purpose: 90-Day Journey
The Butterfly Club 90-Day Purpose Plan is a transformational journey designed to help girls in grades 6–12 build confidence, discover their purpose, strengthen leadership skills, and create lifelong sisterhood connections. Guided by staff, mentors, and women in leadership, each girl will grow through empowerment activities, creative expression, real-life mentorship, and personal development experiences that inspire them to shine both on and off the stage. 💜🦋
The Butterfly Family Connection Project
The Stronger Together Family Initiative is a Butterfly Club project focused on strengthening relationships between girls, families, mentors, and community leaders through love, communication, trust, and support. This initiative encourages healthy family connections while creating a safe sisterhood where every girl feels valued, heard, and empowered.
Through group activities, mentorship, bonding experiences, leadership discussions, and community engagement, participants will build stronger emotional connections and learn the importance of unity, respect, and encouragement within both their families and their communities.

The EmpowerHER Women’s Conference is a transformational 3-day experience created to inspire, educate, and empower women and teen girls through leadership, sisterhood, wellness, creativity, and personal growth. Hosted by The Lillie Mae Parson Performing Arts Center, this conference brings together women in leadership, mentors, entrepreneurs, artists, educators, and community voices to uplift and encourage the next generation.
Throughout the conference, participants will experience powerful speakers, interactive workshops, networking opportunities, confidence-building activities, wellness discussions, mentorship sessions, and inspiring conversations focused on purpose, healing, leadership, and empowerment.
EmpowerHER is more than a conference — it is a movement designed to help women and girls discover their strength, embrace their voice, build meaningful connections, and walk boldly into their future with confidence and purpose.

RiseHER Leadership Summit
At The Lillie Mae Parson Performing Arts Center (LMP), our Butterfly Club promotes healthy and positive relationships between mothers and daughters because we understand the importance of this bond in a young girl’s life.We believe strong mother-daughter connections help build confidence, emotional security, communication skills, self-worth, and leadership in young girls. A supportive relationship between a mother and daughter can shape how a girl sees herself, how she handles challenges, and how she builds relationships throughout her life.To help strengthen these connections, the Butterfly Club hosts two annual signature events focused on creating meaningful experiences for mothers and daughters together. These events are designed to encourage bonding, healing, open communication, empowerment, and lasting memories through creative activities, discussions, performances, and community engagement.Our goal is to create safe and uplifting spaces where both mothers and daughters feel seen, supported, valued, and inspired.Because when mothers and daughters grow stronger together, families and communities grow stronger too.
